We are pioneers, leaders and safety experts for over 40 years.
Founded in 1976 by the Austrian plastics engineer Peter Röhrig, MAM has been creating ever since innovative and unique baby products that make the life of babies and parents easier and more enjoyable. Röhrig’s unique idea was to create extra-safe baby products that combine attractive, innovative design with proven medical benefits.
- 1976: MAM is founded in Vienna by Austrian Peter Röhrig, a trained plastics engineer. The first MAM Baby pacifier is sold.
- 1987: The international distribution and production center is established in Switzerland.
- 1989: MAM is established in the UK.
- 1990: Opening of the Group’s first own production site in Hungary
- 1991: MAM is established in Germany.
- 1997: MAM Baby research and development center is opened in Siegendorf, Austria.
- 1998/99: MAM subsidiaries are established in Hungary and Brazil.
- 2002: The Group begins latex production at 'Thaimed' in Thailand, with high-quality materials, production facilities and working conditions meeting MAM's highest standards.
- 2004: Entry into the baby bottle market. MAM sells its first Anti-Colic bottle. Since then the MAM Easy Start Anti-Colic bottle with its patented vented bottle base allows babies and parents a relaxed feeding with less colic and regurgitation.
- 2008: MAM is established in Spain and the US.
- 2011/12: MAM is established in Greece and France.
- 2016: MAM is established in Italy and China. The group’s new ultra-modern Thai factory in Kabinburi is opened.
- 2018: MAM enters the electronic devices market. The first MAM Baby Electric Sterilizer & Express Bottle Warmer is sold.
